Introduction


Who we are

Health and Education Advocacy for Life Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, non-government organization founded by a group of God-fearing, just and peace-loving individuals dedicated to public service and in one spirit aiming to promote quality education, health, sports and public moral. Guided by faith and strong will to serve the people, with all the public sectors especially the children and youth as the inspiration, the Board of Trustees, in one voice will speak for the people, serve as blessed healing hands from poverty, hunger and suffering. It is formed by a group of men and women united to uphold the rights of the people, a new breed of heroes with one common dream – prosperity, justice and honor for our country its people.


Who we serve

Health and Education Advocacy for Life Foundation, Inc. helps transform the lives of the poorest children and families. We extend assistance to all children and youth regardless of their religious beliefs, gender, race and political affiliations.


Why we serve

Driven by faith and in partnership with people who have heart for the deprived, Health and Education Advocacy for Life Foundation, Inc. seeks to enable the children to realize their God-given potential by tackling the root causes of poverty. We also intend to advocate the rights of the people for a quality education, health, sports and public moral.


How we serve

Education. Scholarship is granted to one child for every poor family in the community. This will ensure that each poor family has at least one child who finishes studies. The scholarship grant will be from elementary to college level. A scholar should maintain at least passing grades in a public school of his choice. Benefits include free tuition and miscellaneous fees, school uniform, school supplies and monthly stipend.

Community Development. Help people to discover and use their own vision, skills and resources to move from abject poverty to abundant living. Targeting critical needs: clean water, reliable food supplies, access to basic health care, access to education and income-generating microeconomic development. Partnering with churches, government and local organizations.





Medical Mission and Health Care. Free medical and dental missions are being held once every six months. Partnering with medical laboratories, immunizations and free medicines are also given as the need arises, depending on availability of supplies.
Sports Clinics. Partnering with active sports organizations, different sports clinics and competitions are being held to help encourage the youth on the importance of sports. Training them to become potential national and international athletes.
Disaster Relief. Responding to sudden natural disasters and slow-building humanitarian emergencies. Saving lives and reducing suffering by tracking crises, pre-positioning emergency supplies for immediate response, and remaining after the crisis to rebuild and restore communities.
Arts and Culture Development. Partnering with national agencies, workshops are being held to develop talented individuals especially children and youth. Developed talents are being endorsed and sponsored to perform on national and international level.




Vision

HEALTH and EDUCATION ADVOCACY for LIFE FOUNDATION, Inc. envisions the Philippines rise from the claws of poverty by the year 20112. We see at least one successful professional from every poor family in each community. We dream of Filipinos as citizens with sound mind and body, healthy and responsible people of the community. We can see poverty being defeated by good faith, joining hands and standing strong. We see potential national and international athletes giving honor and pride to our country. We envision successful actors, actresses, singers and dancers carrying the name of each city or province on widescreen and on stage. We, as people joined by above visions hope that the Philippines will be a clean country, being led by just, selfless and potential leaders carrying the pride of our noble heroes.

Mission

HEALTH and EDUCATION ADVOCACY for LIFE FOUNDATION, Inc. was founded to rebuild the Philippines, bring back its beauty and its glory. It was organized so that the Philippines regains back its honor and pride. It is a foundation with a heart whose mission is to awaken the Filipinos from a long nightmare and put an end to ignorance, malnutrition, drug addiction and immorality. It is the foundation that was built to break the chains of poverty, corruption and injustice and will turn the country into a prosperous one. Its mission is to bring hope to the hopeless and give light to the country’s darkest corners.


Goals

HEALTH and EDUCATION ADVOCACY for LIFE FOUNDATION, Inc. aims to bring hope to the people of the Philippines, that poverty is not a hindrance to prosperity. Its goal is to provide quality education to most of the poor especially to children and youth who have great dreams and ambitions. Its purpose is to train potential athletes, produce successful actors and actresses that will soon become a pride of the city. It aims to have a peaceful, just and humane society with healthy citizens happily and living in it in harmony, upholding and respecting each others’ rights. HEALTH and EDUCATION ADVOCACY for LIFE FOUNDATION, Inc. wants to build a strong Philippines, ready to face and survive all disasters, and able to stand strong in front of any calamity.
